Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 24, 2026
Last updated: May 24, 2026
Recapta respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Recapta processes information when you use the Recapta mobile application and related services.
Recapta uses third-party authentication services, such as Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or other supported authentication methods, to provide login functionality.
Recapta does not require users to provide their real name, address, or phone number to use the app.
Depending on the authentication provider and the user’s settings, authentication-related information may include:
- A user identifier
- Authentication status
- Authentication provider information
- An email address, if provided by the authentication provider
Recapta uses a user identifier to associate Recapta data with the user’s signed-in account. Recapta does not use your email address as the primary identifier for investment record data.
Recapta allows you to record and manage investment-related information that you enter into the app.
This may include:
- Asset names
- Lot information
- Original invested capital
- Sales, dividends, and recovery records
- Recovered capital
- Remaining capital
- Capital recovery rate
- Bookmark and milestone records
- App settings and related data
Investment record data is generally associated with a user identifier, not with the user’s real name, address, phone number, or email address.
This information is used to provide the app’s record-keeping, calculation, visualization, analysis, and related data management features.
Recapta uses Apple In-App Purchase and third-party subscription management services to manage subscriptions and determine whether Pro features are available.
Recapta does not directly collect or store your credit card number or other payment method details.
Recapta may process or receive information related to:
- Subscription status
- Purchase status
- Restore purchase status
- Customer identifiers used for subscription management
- App Store transaction-related information
If you contact us for support, Recapta may process information such as:
- Your email address
- Your inquiry details
- Information necessary to investigate and respond to your request
Recapta uses the information described above for the following purposes:
- To provide Recapta
- To authenticate users
- To associate Recapta data with the appropriate signed-in account
- To save and display investment record data
- To calculate recovered capital, remaining capital, and recovery rates
- To analyze usage trends and app data
- To improve Recapta
- To develop features
- To determine access to Pro features
- To verify subscription status
- To restore purchases
- To respond to support requests
- To investigate bugs, errors, and service issues
- To comply with applicable laws and lawful requests
Recapta may analyze app data and usage trends to improve the app, develop features, and understand how Recapta is used.
Because Recapta does not require users to provide their real name, address, or phone number to use the app, investment record data is generally associated with a user identifier rather than directly identifying information such as a real name.
Where appropriate, Recapta may use aggregated or de-identified information for analysis, service improvement, and product development.
However, data associated with a user identifier may still relate to the same signed-in account over time. For this reason, Recapta does not describe all user identifier-based data as fully anonymous.
Recapta uses third-party service providers to operate the app, including services for authentication, cloud data storage, subscription management, and payment verification.
These service providers may process information as necessary to provide their services and to help us provide Recapta.
Subscription purchases on iOS are processed through Apple In-App Purchase. Payment processing is handled by Apple. Recapta does not directly collect or store your credit card number or other payment method details.
Recapta may store data locally on your device and/or in cloud storage.
If you use account-based features, your investment record data may be stored in cloud storage so that Recapta can associate the data with your signed-in account.
Recapta does not sell your personal information.
Recapta does not share your personal information with third parties except in the following cases:
- When necessary to provide the app through third-party service providers
- When you have given your consent
- When required by law
- When necessary to respond to lawful requests from public authorities
- When necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of users, third parties, or the operator
If you are signed in to Recapta, you may delete your Recapta account data from within the app.
This may include investment records, datasets, asset information, transaction records, settings, bookmarks, milestones, and related app data associated with your signed-in Recapta workspace.
When deletion is initiated, Recapta cloud data directly associated with your sign-in and data stored on your device are deleted, and you are signed out of the app.
If you sign in again with the same Apple or Google account after deletion, your Recapta workspace will start empty.
Deleting Recapta account data does not delete your Apple ID, Google account, or Apple/Google sign-in settings.
Deleting Recapta account data does not cancel your App Store subscription. To cancel a subscription, you must manage your subscriptions through Apple’s subscription management settings.
Some information may be retained for a limited period where necessary for billing, fraud prevention, legal compliance, support, security, or legitimate operational purposes.
Anonymized or aggregated analytics data that does not directly identify you may also be retained and used for service improvement, product development, and statistical analysis.
Information managed by third-party service providers, such as Apple, Google, or subscription management services, may be retained according to their own terms, policies, and legal obligations.
Recapta Pro Monthly is an auto-renewable subscription.
Subscription purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled according to Apple’s terms, policies, and procedures.
Recapta does not directly control Apple-managed payments or refund decisions.
Recapta takes reasonable measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no method of transmission over the internet, cloud storage, or electronic storage is completely secure. Recapta cannot guarantee absolute security.
Recapta may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If material changes are made, Recapta will notify users through the app, the website, or another appropriate method.
